GRANVILLE, N.Y. (WNYT)- On November 1, State Police say they responded to State Route 22A for the report of a one vehicle crash. They say troopers responded to the call at 3:50 a.m. and found the vehicle off the roadway. The investigation determined that the vehicle struck a utility pole before also striking an earth embankment. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Nolan B. Lynford of Wells, Vermont, was declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Albany Medical Center, where they remain in critical yet stable condition. This investigation is ongoing.
