STOCKPORT, N.Y. (WNYT) — Two Hudson men now face attempted murder charges in connection with a shooting in the town of Stockport. The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office announced the arrests of 23-year-old Devin Mackey and 21-year-old Demetries Mackey. State police said troopers responded to Hill Street at about 4:21 p.m. on Oct. 20 after a report that a 44-year-old man had been shot. The man was taken to a local medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries. On Oct. 26, police arrested Devin Mackey and Demetries Mackey and charged each of them with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Both defendants were arraigned in Stockport Town Court and sent to the Columbia County Jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 30
